Marcos Sosa

I have been working as a freelance guide in Puerto Iguazú since 2015. I began my career as a guide offering general tourism services, showcasing the beauty and attractions of this wonderful destination. However, in 2018, I obtained accreditation as a birdwatching guide from the National Parks Administration, allowing me to specialize in guiding bird enthusiasts in observing the diverse bird species found in the region. This has given me the opportunity to expand my services and cater specifically to nature lovers who are looking for a unique and immersive birdwatching experience in the breathtaking landscapes of Puerto Iguazú. With my experience and passion for birds and nature conservation, I offer personalized and educational tours, sharing my knowledge of the different species, their habitats and conservation efforts. As a freelance guide, my goal is to create unforgettable experiences for my clients, showcasing the richness of Puerto Iguazú’s natural environment and leaving them with a deeper appreciation for the beauty and importance of bird life. Marcos Sosa is our partner tour leader in Argentina, responsible for taking care of and leading all the operations of our birdwatching groups in Argentine territory.
